CAMPER VAN HIRE
Our campervans
are all originals - they are fully equipped with a gas hob, fridge and double bed. Wilson has a hammock bed in the roof and also a hammock bed that can go over the driver and passenger seats and Blanche has a hammock bed which goes over the driver and passenger seats, Herbie is most suitable for couples. All our campervans have awnings which can be used for additional sleep space if required.
Each VW camper
comes fully equipped with all linen, towels, cutlery, crockery, pots and pans, basic utensils, tea towels and cloths.
The campers can seat four or five people. In the back there are two lap belts and if traveling with young children we can provide car seats (Britax) that can be fitted using lap belts (9mths plus). Please note that Blanche only has one lap belt fitted in the back.
The campers have full AA cover so if anything does go wrong you have that security that you will be rescued - wherever you are.
Just one word of warning, these are original pre 1979 camper vans
– speed is not their game! They will go along very happily at about 55/60mph but you will win no prizes for being the fastest motor on the road! They haven't been lowered, they haven't got DVD players or Sat Nav, they are original and do have the odd well worn bit here and there. Please do not expect every mod con or comfort as you will not find them here. What you will find is a totally original, non-messed with, VW campervan. However this is the point, you are hiring them to take in Scotland and enjoy the views and the journey not to be boy racers but to definately do a bit of showing off - that is allowed as you will be the envy of many!
