Happy Highland Campers Top Ten Events in the Highlands
21-23 March - The Northern NashvilleCaithness Country Music Festival
Country Music comes to Caithness for the 5th Annual Country Music Festival. This very family orientated festival and children are allowed free entry to the afternoon shows.  Head to Halkirk where Country comes to the country!
24th April – 1st May – The O’Neill Highland Open, Thurso
THE premier surfing festival in Scotland. Held on the chilly north coast of Scotland. Fantastic surf and lots of excellent entertainment! The campers will feel very at home in this very cool surfing community!
16th-18th May- The Ullapool Book Festival
Catch some of Scotland's finest authors in the unbeliveable scenary of the West Coast of Scotland.  Full programme details will be released in March 2008.
6-8th June - UCIMountain Bike World Cup
The best in the world will be heading to FortWilliam for the outstanding event!  Held at the NevisSkiRange - take the camper and be right in the midst of everything with a view of Ben Nevis to die for.
6th – 8th June – Rock Ness 2008
Fat Boy Slim, Razorlight – they are all going to be there this year! Grab a camper before its far too late! Camp in luxury rather than mud! 
20th-22nd June - The Outsider, Aviemore
A bit of everything at this festival, great bands, cool DJs, bit of moutain biking, Britains Most Beautiful Run, gorge walking, etc etc - you name it you can probably do it.  Being in the camper will make your life SO easy! 
19th-20th July - Inverness Highland Games
Come and get a true taste of Scotland!  See the tossing of the caber, Highland Dancers and Pipe Bands and this year even the Proclaimers (of I would walk 500 miles fame) will be there - what more could you ask for!
7-9th August – Belladrum Tartan Heart 2008
Belladrum – the family festival! According to James’s guitarist this festival has the ethos of Glastonbury – eclectic and unique! This year’s line up yet to be confirmed! But ensure you are there for the Opening Night Ceilidh – not to be missed!
19th – 20th September, Loopallu – Ullapool
Set in the most amazing backdrop Loopallu is the MUST festival for 2008. Set up three years ago this festival goes from strength to strength!
5th October - LochNessMarathon
If the full marathon doesn't do it for you, there is also the 5k and 10K. Run along the stunning scenary of one of the world's best know Lochs - who knows what you might see - Nessie perhaps?
