Itinerary Two: Across the Water!
Day 1
Pick up camper from agreed location and hit Dingwall for some supplies. Then head north on the A9 to The Storehouse to grab some seriously good lunch and a bit of their chocolate beetroot cake which is to die for! Head up to Dornoch an exceptionally pretty town with an outstanding golf course and a fantastic sandy beach to walk off that cake. There are plenty of places to grab a bite to eat before either taking it easy and finding a camp site’
Day 2
Leaving Dornoch head up to Golspie to visit

There are several must dos when on Orkney – one is visiting Maeshowe – this is the finest chambered tomb in
Head onto the Ring of Brodgar, one of the finest stone circles in the world! Have a wonder around these stones and if you feel the need, give them a hug!
Another must do – a visit to Skara Brae. This is an incredibly well preserved stone village containing an intricate maze of dwellings, with stone beds, lintels and cupboards all intact, and dates back some 5,000 years.
